Fender Bassman 400 Pro Combo Reviews 5

Purchased at Cosmo Music in Toronto, Ontario. Cost $1429.00. Tried Yorkville, SWR, Peavey, GK, and Ampeg. This unit had the best tone and punch at the best price.

I've been playing for over 25 years and tried a lot of different units. I play a variety styles but mostly rock and funk. This amp has great tone without very much tweeking, I run it mostly flat and eq from my Ibanez BTB-505 as required. Plenty of volume for small to medium rooms. Decent compressor and the casters are handy.

The unit is a bit on the heavy side, but still manageable.

very solid construction. No annoying buzzes or rattles that you typically get with cheaper units. Nicely finished. Looks great!

The bottom line: This is a great overall amp. Plenty of power, great tone.I could not find a better unit for the price. Excellent value. I would recommend it to anybody.
